Sinead qualified in 1997 from University College Dublin. She completed her Intern year at the Mater Hospital in Dublin before undertaking an MSc degree at UCD in 1999. During this year she conducted research in the field of Glaucoma. Her Basic Surgical Training in Ophthalmology was undertaken in Dublin and Waterford before travelling to the United Kingdom in 2002 to complete her Higher Specialist Training and Specialty Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery. She returned to Ireland in 2009 and is currently based at the Living Health Clinic, The Cork Clinic and Cork University Hospital. |

Special Interests |
Sinead has experience in managing a wide range of eye diseases affecting adults and children. She has a special interest in disorders affecting the eyelids such as tumours and abnormal lid positions such as ptosis (droopy eyelids), ectropion (out turning eyelids) and entropion (in turning eyelids). She also has a special interest in diseases that affect the eye in patients with Diabetes.
Sinead will be available at the clinic for consultation and for minor operative procedures involving the eye and the eyelids. |
