Dr Elaine graduated from UCC in 2006 with an honours MB BCH BAO Bmed Sci degree. She went on to complete the Cork GP training scheme in 2011. She undertook a number of post graduate studies, including a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry and Diploma in the Care of the Elderly. She has been a member of the Living Health team since 2011. Dr Elaine completed a Masters in Medical Education with the University of Edinburgh in 2016. She is an undergraduate tutor with the University of Limerick and is a GP trainer with the Cork GP Training scheme. She is also an examiner with the Irish College of GP’s membership examinations.

She has a special interest in women’s health, antenatal care, paediatrics and education. She is a registered smear taker and is competent in Implanon, Mirena and Copper coil insertion.
